Branch Manager - Lisbona, Portugal

Holiplanet is looking for a Branch Manager for its Lisbona office!

WHO WE ARE

Our real estate group has been operating for over 16 years; our group deals with construction and management of holiday homes since 2006 and we have recently created Holiplanet – Holiday Rentals, a specific division for the promotion and management of short term rentals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a dynamic person with experience in the hospitality field and interest in real estate market. The ideal candidate is a traveler with a great sense of hospitality, a person who loves the contact with tourists from all over the world, who seeks new challenges, who considers himself to be strongly customer and goal oriented. Knowledge of internet, email and major on-line reservation system (Booking, Airbnb, Agoda, etc.) are indispensable pre-requisites. If you find yourself fitting in this description, think the role suits you and posses excellent English, Italian and Portuguese language skills (knowledge of other languages is a bonus) then you’re welcome to apply for the position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role you’ll be covering will range from the acquisition of new properties to add to the company portfolio, negotiations with estate agents and property owners, set up and management of the recently acquired properties, organization of housekeeping and maintenance staff, reception of guests and satisfaction of all customer needs that arise during their stay. During the probation period you will need to demonstrate that you have acquired a full knowledge of all aspects of the business. Once a portfolio of new properties is created you will be required to recruit skilled resources in different positions (reception, administration, maintenance, etc.). From this point on you will be able to focus on your role as the branch manager.

THE PLACE OF WORK

The main office will be located in Lisbona – Portugal.

WORKING HOURS

Revenue Manager - Phuket, Thailand

REVENUE MANAGER

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a person to provide leadership in the areas of pricing, distribution, revenue optimization, e-marketing, reservation sales, analysis, evaluation and resources necessary to achieve the revenue objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Produce daily, weekly, monthly reports such as day by day forecasts, market segmentation detail and channel distribution. Work to create and implement web site and search engine optimization (SEO), search engine advertising (SEA), and online marketing.

 

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

Proficient in English. Strong written and oral skills. Proficient in Excel
Willingness to travel 1-2 overnight trips a year for continuing education programs
Comprehensive understanding of demand evaluation and effective pricing.
Ability to evaluate and execute a results-driven action plan. Experience managing projects independently and presenting conclusions to team members, property owners, and Branch Managers. Ideal candidate would also possess basic knowledge of channel manager, key sales and revenue systems Property Management Systems. Experience 2+ years of on-property hotel revenue management and e-commerce discipline focus. Extensive hotel experience with Excel.
